After 15 years of recording Hudson Valley artists from Pete Seeger to Abbie Gardner to Shovel Ready String Band to Lipbone Redding I closed my old studio Woody's House and moved all of the gear up to Athens, NY. It is a smaller space but really great for recording singer-songwriter music, acoustic music, etc, and for mixing pretty much anything... We've got some cool, vintage amplifiers, a 1980's Ludwig drum kit, some really cool microphones, preamps, and compressors, and a great room to work in. Tons of unusual percussion instruments such as glockenspiel, washboards, slit drum, marimba, railroad track steel pieces, djembe, and an assortment of shakers and tamborines.
