8th Grade Science is a professional high energy rock band based out of Rockland County specializing in 60’s, 70’s 80’s, 90’s and Today’s Rock songs. No matter the scenario, if you're looking for an entertaining high-energy band that plays nothing but extremely popular music catering to ages from 20 & up, then 8th Grade Science is exactly what you're looking for!
We have a natural knack for getting people into "Party Mode" and making the night come alive! Our number one priority is making sure everyone has a great time at the venue
We have been in the club scene since 1989, playing clubs all over Rockland and Bergen Counties, as well as town street fairs and fundraisers.
The band plays a mixture of Classic Rock, Blues & R&B. Playing well known covers from Rolling Stones and Pretenders to Lynyrd Skynyrd, Black Crowes and Marshal Tucker to Melissa Etheridge, Janis Joplin, Grace Potter and Adele and an 8th Grade Science twist on some old favorites.
8th Grade Science also does corporate events and private parties.
Uncle Tommy’s Tavern is an Irish American Pub. Their menu includes Appetizers, Soups, Salads, Steaks, Several Entree’s, Burgers, Fish, Sandwiches. Come early and get some dinner then rock with us!
